Regarding the lumens vs intensity discussion, I'll add that surefire's diffuser cap fits the scout. Whether you want an intense beam or a gentle flood, you can do it.
The same device goes on x300 lights. The only reason I don't have one on the x300-ub on my rifle right this second is 'cuz I misplaced it. I'll order another one if I can't find it soon, because I really like how it fills a room.
