    The mount on the bottom of the UH-1 doesn't extend all the way to the front of the sight, so it can be moved further forward that what is shown in the picture. You should be able to still fit a magnifier behind it.

    I suppose it isn't much bigger than a 512 or CCO. Smaller than the 512 I guess.

    Looks to sit a little higher compared to my 512

    I had a sideways pic of my SOLGW gun with the 512 Eotech, transposed it over the Vortex sight. Here's the comparison

    Why was 14 hours chosen as the elapsed time of inactivity before going into stand-by mode? That eats a lot of battery life.

    Sounds like using software from Eotech 512. It has a 4 or 14 hour "on" period before going off

    Probably because it gives a comfortable window for a 12 hour shift...

    Just a guess.

    I'm watching the UH1 "live" video right now, and honestly, it looks really really well executed.
