    Guess I'm cool now

Well guys, finally bit the bullet and dropped some money on a stamp/suppressor from silencer shop. Picked up an M4-2000. I really only shoot 556/223 so felt no need for a .30 cal can.

I remember a few months ago me telling EuroDriver I saw no point in a suppressor. I now know the point and advantage of having one.

    Let the wait begin!

Quick questions, I just have your standard AR setup, anything y'all would recommend I change for a suppressor?

You may want to elaborate a bit more...

It's just an Aero Precision M4E1 rifle.

Moving to NFA subforum for hopefully more educated answers.

Appreciate it, completely forgot about that area of the forum!

I'm not too familiar with the Aero's with regards to how well it's gassed. Perhaps an adjustable GB if it's already overgassed.
I'd probably wait to see how it shoots with the can before making any mods.

I would wait until you have your can in hand to test the rifle's ejection pattern suppressed. If it's running too hot you can keep it simple and step up your buffer weight. If you want to get fancy an adjustable gas block, bolt carrier, or gas key are options.

Assuming a 16" mid length, all you need is a H2 buffer and the suppressor mount. An H3 buffer would be ideal, but will not be 100% reliable with suppressor off.
