    New Colt owner! 6720

Have not owned an AR for a while, just put money down on a 6720. Was looking at 6920's when I came across this beauty! Once I picked it up, I knew it was the one. Such a great feeling gun in the hand, very maneuverable. This will be my "go to" gun if society ever falls, and a general fun/range piece. Build quality is top notch, great fit and finish overall. Many of the 6920's I looked at were all dinged up and had tooling marks, not that it takes away from function. Hope to have her home in a few days, then make plans for a few bolt on's.

    Very nice.

I've always liked the lightweight K.I.S.S. approach of the 6720. Built a few similar AR's, but really should plunk down the $'s on an actual Colt one of these days.

Keep us informed as to how you set it up!

Will do, this will be very well thought out. Not just bolting on everything I can like I would have done in my younger days...

Congrats! I picked up a 6720 a few years ago and it is my favorite Colt. Mine is stock except for a KAC micro rear and a Comp M3 in a Larue mount. My "go to" rifle. Can't beat the way it handles.

This plus a Magpul Pro rear, T1, and a Scout light is how I'd set it up. I'd take a 6720 over a 6920 anyday, you got a sweet gun.

Yeah that works. A peq would go well too.

Yeah then I would say some uppers and parts. Le6933. Barrels parts. Stick on the colt system. A few spare barrels and bolts.
