    Left to right: Model 602, Model 603/XM16E1 (late), Model 603/M16A1 (early 1970s), Model 603/M16A1 (late 1970s), Model 604, Model 605, Model XM607, XM177E2, Model 653, Model 723 (early), Model 723 (late), Model 727, Model 733 Commando (A2), M16A2, and M4.

Sometime around April or May, I will be adding another 603/M16A1 clone. Just waiting on Mike and Harlan for the receivers and Brownells for the barrel assembly. I already have the original Colt parts for the lower and upper receivers as well as the furniture, receiver extension, buffer, buffer spring, and flat slip ring. The receivers and barrel assembly will be the only things not original Colt M16 parts. I am having Nodak Spud remove the NDS forge code from the upper receiver.

Wow!! That's commitment to a platform. Makes me misty eyed for the early 80s!

The early 80s is just about my favorite time in history. Great music, ass-kicking president in the White House... the entire country hadn't yet turned into a parody of itself with all the political correctness. And yes, the firearms... Series 70 1911s everywhere, especially in the hands of a mustachioed Hawaiian PI on TV, no Tupperware to be found, and lots and lots of M16A1s back before the antis got all freaked out about them. I agree Renegade04's got the coolness market cornered on this forum.
