Ak Pic Request (Krink Flash Hider)

Anyone have an Ak with the bulgarian Flash Hider on it, you know the one that Noveske emulates in a Ar version. On a carbine length barrel (16 ") though want to get an idea of the length it adds to the weapon.

Also has anyone ever fired w/ it at night how effective is it at flash suppression.

Thanks for any response in advance.

I am not sure as to it making a difference but is your weapon a regular 74' that you are wanting to put the Bulgy on of are you looking for a Krink with Bulgy break. I can get measurements for a 74' with Bulgy if that is what you need.

Edit- Sorry just re-read you OP. I can get that measurement for you this evening. This is a current build so I will not be able to get info on the Bulgy at night...yet.

Thanks, the reason I am asking is because I am getting a SAM-7 classic ( I really like Arsenal AKs for some reason). It has blond wood furniture which I plan on changing for a OD green stock set because I have two other Arsenal SAM-5 with it, and I see this flash hider and I mean lets admit it looks cool as hell. I am not planning to SBR it or anything (TIN FOIL hat kind of guy).

Anyone have it on the weapon to see how it looks I know it probably does not make sense on a 16" barrel but hey why not.

    Thanks again for the reply.

The milled receiver guns are a little heavy as it is and that beercan hider on the end is going to make it that much heavier. That device is designed more as a backpressure increaser to help ensure proper function in shorter gas systems, i.e. Krinkovs.

You may have much better results with an FSC flash suppressing compensator:

FWIW, here is a pic on a 12.5" AK:

    It is an UltiMAK.

And that firearm is neither wearing that rail nor that muzzle device currently.

As I said before, it is a flash hider second and a muzzle boooster/backpressure increaser first. The flash is not obscene from the shooter's POV but from the side it gives a distinct donut-shaped signature.
