    This does not stand up to actual physics. Taking your equation deeper, you're telling me that if I shove you with my closed fist at a force total over time of 200#, over 2 seconds, it is the same as a 200# KE transfer from a jab or punch.

    We both know this to be untrue.

    Thus, you are comparing recoil of a rifle, or shotgun, which happens at a dozen or two fps, (they make calculator that shows this ) to the diminishing lf energy of the slug, which happens at 1000 plus fps.

    It may be the same total kinetic force, but the miniscule time it's delivered over makes it nasty.
