Lightweight, 300 blk and SPR builds

    Hey all,

New here so take it easy on me. I finally moved to a free state so I went a little nuts with a few builds. First up is an attempted lightweight build intended to be for my gf who is 5'1" and 110 lbs soaking wet. I used the Sabertube from Battle Arms but wasn't crazy about the aesthetics or ergonomics so I swapped it out for a Nickel Teflon tube and Magpul CTS. I'm also swapping out the CMC/Lantac trigger for an ALG ACT (moved the CMC to the SPR) so this is an older pic from when I first finished the build. I used standard mil spec forged receivers but one day if I have the scratch, I may upgrade to the 2A Balios light receivers as this thing comes in at just under 6 lbs.

    Build list:
    Aero Precision Texas lower
    Aero Precision upper
2A Armament titanium take down pins
    2A Armament titanium gas block
    VSeven Titanium ambi safety selector
VSeven Titanium end plate and castle nut
    VSeven Titanium mag release assembly
VSeven lightweight ejection port cover and rod
    BCM Mod 3 grip
    BCM Mod 0 trigger guard
    BCM KAG
DS Arms Nickel Teflon buffer tube (formerly the Sabertube)
    DS Arms Carbine buffer spring
    H2 buffer
    Magpul CTR stock
    Fortis Hammer Nickelene Charging Handle
Odin Works SS .223 Wylde 16" ultralight mid length barrel
    Strike Industries gas tube
SLR ION 14.3" ultralight keymod handguard
    SLR Titanium Mini Comp
Bobro Lowrider BUIS (the pic shows Amazon $20 BUIS as I was waiting on the Bobros)
    WMD Nickel Boron forward assist
    FailZero BCG
    Vortex Sparc AR

Next up is a .300 Blk pistol that I'll be submitting forms shortly to SBR.

    Anderson Mfg upper and lower
    Anderson upper parts kit
CMMG lower parts kit (and used the NiB hammer from the FailZero BCG kit)
KAK 8.5" value line .300 blk barrel
SLR Sentry 7 adjustable gas block
Griffin Armament flash comp (I have a Griffin 30SD waiting on paperwork to come back)
    Faxon 7" MLOK handguard
Thordsen Customs buffer tube, buffer tube cover, buffer spring and carbine buffer
    AXTS Raptor FDE charging handle
DS Arms BCG (eh on finish quality but I'll run it for now)
Daniel Defense fixed BUIS (might switch the rear back to a flip up)
Bushnell TRS-25 on a UTG mount
    Streamlight TLR1 HL
    BCM Mod 2 grip

And lastly, the SPR build I finished last night. I traded my way into one of the Aero Precision Builders kits in battle worn titanium and figured it would be a good platform for an SPR....which I've been wanting to build for a little while now.

Aero Precision Builders Kit - M4E1 enhanced keymod upper (assembled) and handguard and lower receiver with matching trigger guard
CMC trigger moved from the light weight build
2A Armament titanium take down pins
    CMMG mag release
DS Arms Nickel Teflon coated buffer tube
    JP Precision carbine buffer spring
    Spikes T2 buffer
Ballistic Advantage Premium Series 18" .223 Wylde Rifle length SPR barrel
2A Armament Titanium T3 comp (might switch this out to something that will accept the Griffin 30SD)
    2A Armament titanium gas block
    Radical firearms melonited gas tube
    BCM Mod 3 grip
BCM Mod A44 ambi charging handle
    Noveske/Magpul safety selector
    FailZero BCG
    Magpul Pro BUIS
Nikon M223 3-12x44 scope on an AD Recon Mount
Harris bipod mounted using Impact Weapons Components Mount N Slot
Magpul CTR stock but might swap out for an STR

    Yes, I'm a little crazy....

Nice looking builds! Post a range report once you've put those to the test.

Thanks! The lightweight build shoots super smooth with a really light recoil pulse. Midlength gas and H2 buffer probably help there. The pistol shoots ok but I'm still developing loads for it just to make sure it functions. I haven't even sighted it in yet. The SPR is next to hit the range and see how she shoots.
