Also, anyone use the rotating adaptor?

    Thanks.
I greatly prefer the notched legs, but mostly because of the immediate spring deployment to max available distance rather than constantly trying to close.

Also, there is great truth in the observation that longer than usually encountered bipod legs are a good thing. 9-13 works pretty well in the Harris line.

Yes go with the notched legs and I would get the 9-13. I have the 6-9 and it's always deployed at the tallest setting. I feel like it's still too low.

Notched legs are the only way to go.

6-9 inch Harris are too low for field use. You cant see over any grass or other brush.

However, when it comes to a bipod that is attached to the rifle for field use, a swivel base is essential, and the ability to pan is beneficial.
    That's a pretty badass bipod!

This was one of the best bipods I have used.

I agree. Shooting pods off of the bench is crappy.

I love the Atlas bi pods. I hate having to go back to a Harris on other guns.

Tiberasaurus Rex - 1,236 yards, nails beer can on first try - note the swivel style Harris bipod. T-Rex always recommends you get the notch leg version, so I assume that's what he's using. The Atlas bipods are sweet, but the Harris will obviously get the job done - I'm keeping mine, anyway.

T-Rex on bipods. It's not just the equipment but how you use it... hmmmm... training instead of relying on perceived better equipment...:

I've always had great luck with the grip pods. They are polymer but have steel reinforced legs. I've never been able to break one. They are also very lightweight.
