    Lot of glare off the half moon.
    Of the two I prefer the ramp.
    My preference in an "old school" FS however is a Patridge or undercut serrated post for a really sharp sight picture.
    Unfortunately those were unavailable off the shelf, but could be had special order, or retro-fit with a pinned FS.

    Who uses the sights. In my encounters I did not have time to use them ever. And that's the way I now practice.

    I use the sights, for one.
    Granted there are scenarios where the use of sights isn't feasible or necessary.
    However, given the choice- or opportunity I will use them.
    My hit percentage is enormously higher using sights

    I have a S&W N frame 25-5 45 long colt I carried it for 13 years when I carried a badge. It served me well on duty and off. And now it's my travelling companion,and home defense. The N frame is the best.
