Most definitely; you'll be pretty close to my area. Instead of 3 sbr minis you should buy one transferable fullsize Uzi. Sure, it's a lot more money, but it's worth it. I'll convince you after you shoot mine...

Minis will be F/A. Micro's look like fun, but impractible. Minis with an RMR would be a blast.

I have a group industry uzi waiting in my form 1. It is in 45 Acp and takes grease gun mags. Suppressed it is pretty awesome. In 9mm it is very easy to shoot well. It is stupid reliable, accurate and easy to use. Not great for optics but that is the only downside for me. If my lgs had one for less than 700 bucks I'd be all over it.

My big three are: MP5, Uzi and Swedish K.

Have the first two, desperately need a Swedish K.

Then if price and opportunity permits, I'll start into the .45s.

    Thompson (1921/28/M1), Ingram M10 and M3.

The .45s will be more collector special occasion shooters, .45 just isn't a "burn a case of ammo in a day" caliber anymore.

I'm with you on the Swedish K. That's my next SMG purchase. They are awesome, especially with a drum. As much as I love the aesthetics and history of the Thompson, every time I shoot one I lose interest in owning a transferable Thompson.

Yeah, I know, problem is I've wanted one since I was 12. Shot them a few times, and honestly I might prefer a M10 as a practical SMG, but it's not going to be a practical purchase.

Just need to decide if I want to get "all in" on a 1921/28 model or if a WWII vintage M1 will be enough. I began my collection with WWI and WWII firearms so maybe the M1 will be enough. Hopefully I'll get over the desire to own both variants.

In my lifetime machine guns have gone from an item that I can purchase once or twice a year if I'm very budget conscious to something I can purchase every other year if the price is right and I do without any other major toys. And of course feeding them is an entirely different matter.

Really, really wish I had stacked a few more M10s before the LAGE upper entered the market. I think powder springs M10s were about $1,200 at the time and I assumed they would always be "about that much." At the time I was buying my MP5s and Uzi so I still made the right decision, just wish I could have been able to do a little more.

And of course one day I'd like to have a MP38/40 just to round things out in my WWII stuff. Sometimes premays are available for a good price.

How about a WWII 28 Thompson? That would satisfy both "needs" and allow you to use drums. If I buy a Thompson that's what I plan to do. Add a Beretta 38/42 to my list.

But honestly the K is just awesome. It's on my short list.

And like you I wish I'd bought more transferables from '02 to '12.

Part of me really wants a Prohibition era Thompson, of course a Colt Navy would satisfy everything but at a very high price. In addition to WWI / WWII firearms, I also have a small collection of "old west" (pre 1900) guns and some Prohibition era firearms.

I have a big hole in both collections, I need a Gen I Single Action Army in 45LC and of course I need a Thompson, both will be expensive.

If I think about it, I probably need a dozen more machine guns, I'd love to have Beretta M12S. Wouldn't mind a Beretta 38/42. Also wouldn't mind a Walther MPL.

Mini Uzi is the best of the 3 models in my opinion.

But I like my MP5k clone even more, and the next PCC I will be getting is the B&T TP9.

Since I couldn't find much info on Group Industry and being told to "make sure it's not select fire" ..... didn't want to chance buying the Uzi version of the 3rd pin Norinco AK...... anyway, I passed on it.
