Ranger also does a 45ACP conversion for the 44mag Marlin 1894s.

I have been tempted to do this...especially since I live 15 minutes away from their shop.

I never shoot 44 magnum anymore and 44 Special is hard to find and expensive. If my Marlin was in 45ACP...I would definitely shoot it more and that would make a dandy pickup truck gun!

When do we get to drool over you .45 ACP conversion?

The .45ACP conversion has me interested... My favorite levergun (.44 mag Rossi 92) is at the gunsmith right now getting a Steve's Gunz large loop lever and some other work done. It's killing me waiting... The thought of a .45 ACP levergun, wow.
You know what I like best about most people?

    Their dogs.

Here is my Ranger Point 45acp. It's a pretty sweet shooter and their in house sights are clever. Awesome customer service and good people.
