    .308 barrel recs

Ok, so my Aero build is coming along and the last thing I need is a barrel. This is strictly going to be a fun range gun. No slogging through the woods etc. Being 45 I'm kind of partial to the "traditional" look of a 20" barrel but could be swayed otherwise. I'm looking at the following....

    Faxon 20" heavy fluted 5R for $322
Faxon 18" heavy fluted for $299
Ballistic Advantage Premium series (either 18" or 20") $275-$300
    BHW 20" 1:11 twist for $239
Criterion 18" (or 20") hybrid nitrited for $349

    Any thoughts or recs?

I am partial to Criterion, have both 223 and 308 barrels by them that perform very well. They are gassed properly and have been 100% reliable. They also seem to foul very little.

I have used Mega as well, but prefer Criterion. I am sure there are other good options too.

    Another vote for Criterion.
I have these on .223 and .308 builds; accurate and no issues to date.

None of the above. Faxon 18" Rifle length gas 4150 QPQ. Should be a smooth shooter with the rifle gas and 18" length. Great value at $250, and the Nitride should ease the maintenance. I haven't had a chance to try mine yet.
