Arsenal SLR104 w/Ultimak rail
When unloaded, I can pull my bolt back with ease and it will return to battery everytime.
When loading, I pull the bolt back on a full magazine and then release the bolt, it goes into battery like normal.
Here's the problem: When loaded, I will attempt to do a press check with the safety still on. I pull the bolt back to the safety and then release it, but it will only travel 1/2-3/4 of the way before it stops and I have to force it back into battery. Sometimes, I can't even pull the bolt back without considerable force.
The gun is clean and liberally lubed. When unloaded the bolt moves smoothly. When loaded I have issues. What is going on?
ETA: The guys on AKfiles said just don't press check anymore. My WASR handles press checks just fine. Even if I didnt press check anymore, trying to unload the rifle is very tough sometimes because pulling the bolt back on a loaded chamber is very hard.
