    Bayonet lug GONE

Building an AR for my brother and living in NJ no lugs allowed. So out came the Dremel and off came the lug. Just a quick how to do.
Taped off around barrel and marked my cut:

One horizontal cut then a vertical cut to finish it off:

A little sanding and super blue and it's done. 5 minutes from start to finish.

It's a shame what gun owners will put up with when conditioned to be law abiding to unjust laws.

But looks clean. Good job submitting to tyranny.

That is a rec of MA, at least before they banned all ARs. There's never been a recorded attack or death of a bayonet attached to an AR in MA, but it's damn scary looking, so has to go. Of all the recs, like 10 mag limit, no folding stock and such, the bayonet lug thing the least offensive, but still complete BS.

I was going to say that I disagree, and that it is more a matter of people providing for their families and making do with what options are available to them. I still think that is true, however, there is no doubt that people become used to the sanctions imposed against them. Politicians know this, and in a worst case scenario something may lose them a seat, but for the most part people just deal with things and move on.

Liberals are the exception to tolerance though, and for some reason the conservative base is much more like a frog in a boiling pot of water. The constitution, specifically the second amendment, has been savaged when compared to its original form.
