...and whose designers made the quadrants too tight? Hint: It wasn't Magpul. On the Mk14 the angled quadrants are too tight to meet the Mlok width spec. When making Mlok comparable stuff it has to meet the Magpul spec

I'm wanting a 8" EMR in M-Lok.
I've been told it won't happen.
According to Geissele the new barrel nut design is slightly more rigid than the MK4/8. The MK14 will be a slick side version of the MK13 without picatinny and will be released after the MK13.
Huge fan of the G rails and I'm really interested to see the final design/specs on these new releases. I have several MK4s that I chose over the MK8. I also have zero use for the picatanny rail sections but what I do need is the built QD socket at the end of the handguard. Would love to see a thinner version with the QD cups but without the rail sections.
I'm planning on putting together a 6.5 gas gun in the next year or so, and if this single stage is offered with a straight blade I'll definitely be a customer.
Bill gave away TWO rifles today and a trigger set. I'm sure those dudes will be happy rockin his rails, lol.
