I picked up a used TRP that had one installed so I left it in there. It's been fine through the 5,000 or so rounds I've put through the gun. I'd say they're GTG.
Have them on all of my 1911s, .45, 9mm and 38 Super. They've been flawless.
Wolff 18.5 lb with shock buff, 19 lb main/hammer spring, standard FPS, changed out at 1500 - 2k round counts.
I have one with 11lb ISMI spring in my 9mm Springfield that works great and is super smooth. When I put the set with a 17lb spring in my MC Operator, it made crunching noises. Even though the MC Operator shot fine with the noise, I just didn't like the feel and crunchiness when racking the slide.
I've been using one in my Colt .38 Super for over 2000 rounds with Shok buff. It seems to have a smoother function in a GI set up. Overall I like it. I'm using a #15.
