    Quality Control on Geissele Triggers.

Today I was very impatiently waiting on the mail man to deliver the last piece for my rifle build, a Geissele SSA-E trigger. I did order it direct from Geissele.
Upon inspection, this is what I discovered. The metal is actually somewhat concave and deformed around this area of the hammer. I'm sure it will function correctly but when I pay over $200 for a precision trigger, I don't expect poor craftsmanship. Should I just roll with it or have them replace it ?

I'd have them replace it. More due to the location of the deformity than the cosmetic aspect.

That is definitely a blem. They usually sell them off every so often at a nice discount. So, with that in mind, you didn't get what you paid for and it should be replaced (including all shipping). Please keep us updated.

If they're slow in getting back to you, keep in mind that they may be running on a skeleton crew due to SHOT.

BTW; wrong forum for this discussion.
