I own a CMMG MK-9 with 16" barrel and chronographed Winchester 115g FMJ. I used a Competition Electronics chronograph positioned 15' from the muzzle.
Chronograph Results (02/26/17): 51 Degrees/Winchester white box 115g FMJ – published velocity 1190 fps
Average Velocity – 1364 fps
High Velocity – 1391 fps
Low Velocity – 1333 fps
Extreme Spread – 58 fps
Standard Deviation – 25 fps
I've fired several boxes of the Federal 115g aluminum case ammunition to date and haven't experienced any projectile setbacks.
