So with all the problems people have been experiencing with these lowers, and the seemingly hit and miss QC, why is it that they're still in demand? I don't understand why to take a chance tracking one of these down instead of just finding a lower that hasn't had the same kinds of issues? What am I missing?

Ok then! I trust answers around here so I've been keeping an eye out for another opportunity to snag one of these lowers, and it's just come up at Small Arms Sales. Posted on the page is " *This revision will work with Knight's trigger guard without modification.", which I called in to ask about. Apparently these are still part of the original limited run, but are supposed to have had the reported problems fixed. Also, the info I was given, was that (to their knowledge) it's still a limited production item, but total number of items available is unknown. 14 in stock when I first saw them, minus 1 for me, 12 left in stock as I type this. Act fast!

I have one I will ship to your FFL and if you are in Northern VA you can pick it up at Blue Ridge Arsenal.
I have two consecutive serial numbered KAC lowers I do not need.
each one has a UID label made by a member on these forums that has the KAC cage code, and the serial number for that lower (one is MK18, and one is M4A1 for the model iirc)
I think I have two uninstalled KAC trigger guards for them too.
