I'd rethink your choice of rail. What is the intended purpose for said weapon?

This is a general purpose rifle im putting together. Nothing serious.

    18" BCM SS410
    MI T-12 rail
    Geisselle SSA-E
And most likely an Acog TA31RCO on top

    What do you guys think?

    Thanks

Well, you're dropping coin on some premium components, so why not go with a better rail? Something like a DD Lite or Troy Extreme? Just what I think.

I like the DD and the Larue German is right on. I just picked up a used laure for my 20" BCM upper yesterday. Saved a bunch of money.

The thing has been laying around for about 2 months, my idea for the gun was set so i said, why not slap the thing on, it's there.

Right now, i just don't know if i should sell it and put the $$ towards a nicer/better rail system.

Question: The fact that you guys are suggesting a better rail system lies where? Is the MI not up to the standards?

It seems well made and sturdy.

    Thanks

Unless you HAVE to have four complete rails on your FF tube AND, if you are going to stick with Midwest Industries, why not go with their SS series tubes?

They're much lighter and they feel handier than the T series.

With that said.. here's my real advice..

Sell the MI and use the money to get an Apex or a Troy/Vtac xtr tube.
