So, since these uppers come with a RRA BCG, it doesn't need a 9mm hammer? Basically you would just need a RRA mag block, and one of these uppers and you would be in business?

RRA's 9mm carriers do not come ramped from the factory. You need to either do it yourself, or send it out to be done.

With a ramped carrier, you can use any hammer you want, except a 9mm hammer. A hammer with no notch, like the DPMS, will run smoother.

I see. I am fairly handy with a file, any good link on a how-to to ramp it? Or any suggestions on who to send it to?

ETA: OK searched it out a little more, look like sending it in is the best way to go...
