I would definitely buy a few of these if I could find them. I love experimenting, so this would be right up my alley.

BRT has really already covered the sizing experimentation. Every tube we've installed has been fine using their selection criteria. I don't like fighting the tiny roll pin on gas tubes so I prefer to install once and move on, but that's just my approach to it.

How about a minimum order of 500?

But that way you can't go through $80 of ammunition while tuning the system to save $40 on a BRT gas tube...

Not to mention the time, doing the work, driving to the range, etc.

    Exactly.

What you value your time at should factor into it.

Before there were adj gas blocks, a set screw in the gas block port was the only way we could fix an over-gassed barrel.

For me its a matter of $2 vs $65.

The gas tubes are the easy button if you want easy.

Yes. The KISS answer of available options in my book.

About to start tuning when the cans come in. Currently have H2s and flat wire springs in the ARs. Should I try H or H1 first and see how small a vent hole is needed to cycle or just stay with the H2s and go from there? I know the H2 will be a little more recoil but will slow the unlock a little longer for more gas down the barrel. This will be on Turbo 3s and Turbo Ks. 14.5", 16" and 18" barrels with mid length gas.
