    Good to know. I have a 556 and may have to get a 300 also.

    I like the idea of the rifle using AR15 mags but was skeptical of the Mossberg rifle. How do you like it?

    Haven't shot it that much yet, but the little I have I have been impressed by how accurate it was out of the box with just the open sights. Mine is the Patrol model and my AR is also 556. I like the idea of having a SA and bolt share the same ammo and mags. Neither is intended for precision work.

    I want one just to supplement my 300 BO SBR. The AR is pretty quiet with subs, but there is still the noise of the action cycling. A bolt gun with can would be more "pellet gun" quiet..

    These folks make bottom metal for the Remington 700 so you can run AR mags in them. I put one on my 700 SDS Tactical AAC and it works great.
