    Cylinder and Slide TRIDENT

Before this pistol hits the Classifieds, I wanted to show it off a bit. I wish it were mine, but a good buddy has had this for awhile now.

There are lots of guns being marketed as "fighting 1911's", but this is one of the grand-daddy guns of the category. Tuned for utmost reliability, obviously. A super strong front sight, with ultra wide base. Beavertail with the hammer pocket widened enough that stuff lodged in there would block the hammer from it full arc. Stippling instead of checkering that could be easily damaged (or that could damage OTHER equipment), Fail-Zero coating so that no/minimal lube can be applied, etc., etc.

I shot a Trident that belonged to a guy behind this project. Very well thought through and executed 1911.

That's a really neat build. The stippling looks great on it

Still one of my favorite 1911's ever made.

It's a sweet pistol. Pricey though.

Heck ya, I'm sure that will go fast. Everything a 1911 enthuse could want.
