BCM'S rail covers are ugly as sin. Same with Magpul's. Very functional though. Of course that's just my opinion so put the daggers down. I go with the honeycomb design from RailScales. Functional and sexy as all get out....IF you can stomach the price.Originally Posted by Mike14_07

I've been waiting for these for months. Now that they've arrived, I can't bring myself to hit the "add to cart" button. If they had been 7075 it would have been a no-brainer. As it is, I think I'll keep waiting for a 10.5" Geissele MK8 or MK16. In the meantime, I'll just have to put my 11.5" build on the back burner...

BCM: Where are the 11.5" MCMR uppers?!?!
ETA: They JUST added 11.5" standard MCMR uppers to the site... and they're listed as OOS
Waiting for the ELW version, and crossing my fingers I don't have to wait another 9 months for availability

Is the KMR alpha rail made from the same 6061 that the MCMR is?

I also am going to purchase a 11.5 upper but cant decide between the two rails. I have 2 BCM KMR uppers and a KMR rail on another upper now that I really like. I also like the ability to change out things on any of the guns I now have.BCM: Where are the 11.5" MCMR uppers?!?!
