I have one of the first generations HEST folders, not this particular model the 2.0. I travel quite a bit the blade length is legal in most areas and I like the features, glass breaker, bottle opener, hex opening for various hex screwdrivers, roto lock for locking the blade to be a more secure lock open feature. I would compare the feel of this folder in weight and how it feels in my hand to a Strider or my Zero Tolerance.

    Hi Stick,

I see that you have the Hest 6 and the Heft 6. After looking at your pictures, I am trying to decide between the two. If you could only have one, which one would you pick?

    Thanks!

I've had the heat as my EDC for the last 6 months and am very happy with it.

Its pretty small and unassuming, the glass breaker works great on it.

I've actually used it to help a guy get into his car after locking his keys in it... (I hope it was his car)

The bottle opener has definitely helped many a friend open a beer.

The only other knife that I carry is a wilson combat ELW but thats for when I wear a suit(yeah its my suit knife).
