    Pistol laser/light combos

Besides the Steiner/Laser Devices DBAL and the Viridian green laser/light combo are there other
manufacturers of pistol mounted laser/light combos out there that are not chintzy or have function
controls that are intuitive in use ?
The Steiner controls seem counter intuitive in discussions I have read, and making a $800 purchase
that will not allow laser over ride of light or vice versa seems a non starter.
I have one of the M9A3 Berettas and plan on a laser/light/suppressor combinations.

Surefire x400, Crimson Trace Rail Master and Streamlight's tlr-2. The Rail Master comes in red and green, I believe the x400 comes in both colors but I could be wrong.

The TLR-2 also comes in both green and red visible pointers.

The Surefire XC2 is another option, more in line with the Crimson Trace Rail Master Pro or Streamlight TLR-4. There is also the CT Laserguard Pro or SL TLR-6 if you have one of the compacts or subcompacts they're designed for.

Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose.

I'm a SF guy but recently picked up a TLR-2 HL in green. First range trip will hopefully be tomorrow.

I'm interested in trying the Steiner SBAL-PL but was hoping to let others test/review them for a while first.
Before you suggest that licensing, background checks, or other restrictions for the 2nd Amendment are reasonable... Apply those same ideas to the 1st and 4th Amendments. Then tell me how reasonable they are.

My favorite combo is the Surefire x300u with the DG switch. I think its super important to be able to activate the light with one hand. Here's an article I did covering the combo on my XDm. It works very well on there as well as my Sig p226. http://www.tierthreetactical.com/tac...ringfield-xdm/
