If people in the 1920s successfully predicted an influx of Syrian refugees into Europe almost a 100 years later then:
1. The stock market never would have crashed, they'd have ridden that Magic 8 ball wizardry to such heights they could simply purchase controlling interest in every country on the globe.
2. They'd have bankrupted Monte Carlo, Vegas, Hong Kong and every other gambling center decades ago.
But more importantly, this isn't the first or the last massive influx of muslims into Europe. Either you are going to suggest the Algerian War was Phase One or you have already forgotten about it. Additionally there was this thing called the Ottoman Empire not very long ago, it included Greece, what is now Yugoslavia and a lot of other places which are now South Eastern Europe. At one time it bumped right up against Austria.
Ironically enough, the UK and US arbitrarily redrawing the map after WWI (against almost exactly 100 years ago) is a big part of what created problems in the Middle East in the first place. Had Obama never been elected, and had we never had a President incapable of learning from the mistakes made by Bush 41 and more importantly Bush 43, there wouldn't be such a thing as ISIS and all of those "Syrian invaders" which according to you were imagined and predicted almost 100 years ago would still be in...Syria.
Additionally, had the ISIS caliphate have been successful, it would have actually drawn in muslims from all over the world and Europe just as easily could have ended up virtually muslim free as everyone flocked to their new Syrian / Iraqi homeland. Had Russia decided to NOT back the Assad government, that was a very plausible outcome as Obama proved he was a paper tiger time and time again.
And then there is the problem that the only globalization that radical Islam is interested in is global domination and I think that might be slightly at odds with the plan Eijiro had in mind. Again, it's a simple problem of divergent and powerful conflicting ideologies that prevent any one of them from assuming complete control.
Even Marxism, with almost half the globe as it's followers at one time, completely failed. Try to understand that the communist Soviet Union and communist China failed to successfully work together in any meaningful way and they had nearly identical ideologies and goals.
It's hard to be a ACLU hating, philosophically Libertarian, socially liberal, fiscally conservative, scientifically grounded, agnostic, porn admiring gun owner who believes in self determination.
Chuck, we miss ya man.
