We are watching this media masturbation self love affair and I said the the Mrs., "If a meteor hot that room, what would we really lose?". And her response was "There would be a lot of waiters in LA that would be very happy."

I honestly stopped giving a shit about actors getting together to give each other awards when Annie Hall beat Star Wars for best picture in 1977.

I can't remember the last time I actually watched the Academy Awards, was probably around when "Saving Private Ryan" was nominated.

If these people weren't paid, or we didn't know who they were, I could understand an awards show. But these people are constantly in the press. Why do we need all these awards shows? Then it is all about them giving them to each other. It's almost like a parody.

Trump's tweet should be "What's wrong, did the Russians hack Best Picture Award?"

Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway show you how stupid actors can be. They combined Steve Harvey with Ron Burgandy. If the envelope had said "Ice Cream" they would have just read it. Just shows how we are supposed to idolize these people who main skill set is looking pretty and reading what ever it put in front of them.

I still proffer that the AVN awards have more gravitas and integrity than the Oscars.

Those thespians do all their own stunts and what you see is real and well done. Lots of practical effects.

Like I told somebody else one day, If I had some funding or millions of dollars free, I would love to be the Oliver Stone of adult film. So much that the line would blur between mainstream, indie, and stag.

All true art is based on destruction and nihilism.
