    Ramped bolt usage in a 9mm AR

    Is it the general consensus that using a ramped bolt in a 9mm AR alleviates hammer pin stress and lower receiver hammer pin hole elongation?

    Yes, but I would still use KNS anti-rotate/anti-walk pins...

    My Colt 6951 came with a factory ramped bolt. FWIW.
