Can Crimson Trace grips be stippled?

I have a set of Crimson trace LG207 grips that are a bit slick. Can the hard polymer material used in these grips be stippled?

I would most certainly think it would not be an issue however, I would stay away from the area housing the electronics.

    Success

Worked great. Slippery hard polymer surface and finger grooves replaced by good quality stippling coverage.
