The Magpul does fit the Adams Arms perfectly. The Adams Arms is very high quality and is boringly reliable. I have two friends that both have the same rifle as you and have thousands of rounds through them with not a single malfunction. I personally like the Adams Arms piston system much better than the LWRC and other piston systems. The Adams Arms piston system is based on the FN FAL piston system which is why it works so well and is so durable. You have a fantastic rifle there, congrats.

That MOE SL handguard definitely improves the look, as well as shielding the hand a bit from heat if you like the longer reach style of shooting.

That's good to know. I'll install the Magpul stock set after I give it a test shooting. A replacement firing pin retaining pin is on the way from Adams Arms. Adam actually answered the phone when I called.

My retaining pin was the same way.

Exactly the same spread and all.

I just use it, it has been fine.

Debating switching to the original style retaining pin, but haven't had any issues so far, so why bother.

Nonetheless, glad to hear they resolved that issue for you promptly.

I tried, but I couldn't get it all the way back in the carrier.

I had to rotate the pin in the retaining slot while applying pressure.

Not stating yours is able to do so, just that my pin was spread too on arrival.

I wonder if they get them that way, or if they add the spread themselves.

I'm pretty sure the spreading is caused by the retaining pin being pounded in while it's misaligned. I'm generally able to push them in by hand.
