Last year I sent a Rail Gun back to Colt for some missing rollmarks. Turnaround time was about 3 weeks and they paid for shipping both ways. Satisfactory service if you ask me.

I have an alloy-frame Commander, I use Wilson 47D mags exclusively for that reason.

You can buy the Wilson followers and springs and put them in a factory mag.

I’ve not experienced that either. August of 2016 the slide stop pin of my Wiley Clapp Government broke while firing. Gun was sent back the beginning of September 2016. I received the gun back the end of January 2017 so 5 months.

3 to 6 month turn arounds seems to be common with Colt Warranty work but they pay for shipping and seem to do good work.

Tripp Cobra mag kits are a good option as well.

Better than 9-12 but that's still ridiculous.

I would welcome a Colt representative who can tell us what we can expect in the immediate future. Getting ahead of rumors is a good plan. There are plenty of folks pulling for Colt.

Why? Glock can’t be beat. I would rather Colt do a better job on what has made them what they are.......maybe bring back the Python or something but please no more polymer.
