I like the 69 grain Sierras. I am in the process of replacing all my bullets with them with the exception of some cheap Barnes 55gr. plinking rounds

Mark I do love the 77s but a couple of years ago I started finding deals on the 69s so I started buying them up. I am in the process of shooting up all of the odd weights I bought years ago when you bought whatever you could find and replacing them with 69s and 55s.
I do have a couple hundred 77s though. They are like a special reserve,

When the 77 Noslers go on sale, they're relatively cheap. Pappabear pushed us beyond the 69s and into the 77s years back. And I'm glad he did. They fly farther, better. (I often forget not everyone is irrationally fixated on long range like us. )

I have the same Faxon barrel and was able to keep sub MOA groups using a sling only in prone out to 500 yards. I haven't tried 77 gr in that gun yet.
