    I think there correct composition I am thinking of for the early years was 'fiberglass and epoxy resin'. They did make composite ones later with a sling attachment point in the buttstock, so possibly they reinforced the material, the point, or changed the material.

    Awesome!!! I knew somebody would figure this out. When I asked a couple of the know it all Cliff Claven "gun experts" at one of the many nice gun shops we have in my area the other day they all just went silent for the first time.

    Now you can be the guy with some obscure gun knowledge at the LGS!

    And as for The Terminator, I have for decades mistakenly assumed it was some obscure AK variant due to the 'bananna clip' (I know, it's a magazine). Now I know!
