    Colt 653/733 clone

So I finally got my paper work back and I changed my mind twice on what I wanted to make so here is a fake backstory for how this rifle could actually exist. The lower was originally a colt 653 loaned to a local police department in 1980 for there swat unit. 7 years later that swat unit shot out the barrel and so they swapped out the upper for a early colt 733 upper. When the department didn't want the gun anymore they dewated the lower and I bought it at the police auction. Again not a true story but makes this gun a possibility of actually existing. Main reason for me building this gun like this is because I hate A2 pistol grips so I can't build a true Colt 733 because I won't put an A2 grip on it. But what you y'all think?

I think you should just build the gun you want and not worry about making up weird back stories.

If you like it, who cares?
