Here is a vintagey looking mutt.


Ingredients:
Vintage parts - N marked Colt stock, old Colt M4 guards, Nam era Colt grip, old M4 carry handle, old Colt fire control group, Colt 4 pos buffer tube and spring...
New Parts: Colt marked m4 and T marked upper with 4150 cmv Colt marked 1/7 barrel and Colt m4 LE serialed lower from an Expanse that apparently is among a batch with better stuff.
Spikes heavy buffer, Core billet handle

Ooh cool. I love it.

Update: 300 rds down the pipe. no cleaning just a squirt of clp. very accurate. with carry handle in RIBZ setup this thing is very satisfactory. no failures of any kind yet.

Thanks. I really like it when the parts fit together and it works. It was a good sign of overall build quality that when I put my RIBZ adjusted carry handle on, tightened the screws, and only had to adjust the front sight two clicks and the windage one click for it to be dead on at 50 and 189 yards
