    Same here. Offside feels natural. I run the Vickers +2.

    If I'm dressed and vertical I have a gun on me. If I have a gun on me I have, at minimum, 1 reload for it.
    If you can't win a gun fight against a lightly-trained individual during broad daylight with 88 rounds of 30-06, I'm not sure you'd be able to do it with... any other firearm.

    Ok, I've got an El Camino full of rampage here, so what's the plan?

    I'm usually carrying my Glock 22 with at least one spare magazine, with a flashlight.

    I usually have a KelTec P32 in my pocket and an extra magazine in my back pocket in a magazine pouch that I made that looks like a wallet.

    I carry 2 spares for my G17 most of the time off side OWB in a kydex carrier, but I also open carry my pistol.

    On the odd day I don't feel like carrying 2 spares I will slip a mag in my back pocket with my wallet, I don't own anything smaller than the G17.

    I haven't been able to get my CPL since I moved to Oregon but when I was in Michigan I used a Leatherman belt holster to carry my spare Shield magazine. It was a tight fit but I was able to stretch the leather so I could still snap. I don't think anyone looks twice at it and it never got in the way.

    For pocket / BUG firearms.

    /////////////////////////////

    Offhand side pocket for semis (LCP), strong side pocket for J-frames.

    Regardless which side the weapon is carried - thought being neither is easy / fast to reload, so if I had to reloaded the weapon would be in my strong side hand, and the reload would proceed normally, even if it was carried, drawn, and fired offhand.

    //////////////////////////////

    For IWB handguns, I carry a horizontal belt magazine pouch for 1 reload at 11:30.

    And I always carry a reload. ALWAYS.

    When I carry my LCP, I have a reload in the opposite front pocket.
