    Carry option; technaclip?

Anyone ever heard of this technaclip? Anyone have an experience with it?

    https://technaclip.com/

I have a Ruger LCP in 380 auto...tiny little gun. I wonder if carrying it IWb or even OWB with this little clip would be an option. I wouldn't try this clip on a fully loaded 1911 or even my G19. Probably too heavy and real world use would cause the clip to bend open over time.

Or is this clip idea only a total noob thing for squids like me?

I am hesitant to carry in ways that leave the trigger guard exposed. I might feel better about a clip like that if used in conjunction with a trigger guard holster. But I think there are much better options out there, especially for a gun that's as easy to conceal as the LCP.

I would not use that - due to exposed trigger.
Check out the rcsgear raven series, they might make something - or a custom shop could make a minimalist holster.

Clips like that have been around for quite a while, and I would advise not using them. Recipe for disaster at some point, just use good quality holster and have piece of mind.

Looks like they offer one with a trigger guard: https://technaclip.com/products/conc...-trigger-guard

Still, it's better to go with a proper IWB setup.

Products like this do not cover the trigger guard (most of them) and they do not provide for a full firing grip on the draw. Absolutely no go and definitely noobish as you put it.

Get a real holster and get training.

And put yourself on a timer for first shot from concealment.

There are a ton of trigger guard holsters with lanyards that you can buy. The Gunclip is probably the first version of this that I've seen. So long as you have a good trigger guard holster, and you train with this carefully, I don't consider it to be an outright liability.

Without such a holster, it is a no go.

Personally, I'd only be looking at this for deeper concealment needs than I can accomplish with a good AIWB rig.
