Same here. I already have a SiCo Octane, and I'm waiting on a Rugged Obsidian. I ordered the DA Ghost too mostly because of the wipe, just for something different.

I wonder if they'll still come with a wipe and wipe end cap so you can make your own replacements, or if they'll just scrap the wipe setup altogether. I hope not.

I'm pretty sure that it will come with a wipe. The problem lies in that only the manufacturer can replace the wipe.

The end user, manufacturer or any FFL can replace the wipe. The unofficial letter Dead Air received simply asked them to stop selling wipes and only applies to them. Nothing more, nothing less.

Dead Air has indicated they will have front caps available in the near future.

If you bought a Ghost, it will come with 2 wipes and proper front cap installed.

Old Sionics suppressors used wipes made of urethane. ATF allowed you to make two wipes to replace the two that were worn out. You could not have extras...

a sheet of urethane and a cookie cutter type die and you were ok.. just don't get caught with extras....
