I wonder if Troy will start selling their aluminum retro stocks separately.

Good question. If anyone finds the answer to that please post it here.

I'm wondering how I can get the sling they use on their retro models. I cannot find it anywhere. I find something close but never the exact sling. If anyone runs across one of these please post the source here.

Troy? Okay if you don't mind dealing with people who employ trigger-happy psychopaths like Murderin' Lon Horiuchi's equally-itchy spotter...

Look up Lon Horiuchi on Wikipedia or Google. He killed Rand Weaver's unarmed wife at Ruby Ridge.

When called to testify in a Congressional hearing, Horiuchi's partner Dale Monroe said of the murder of Vicki Weaver (and do NOT confuse me for any fan of her husband; I'm not, I just see no justification for deadly force against a woman holding a baby 1/4-mile away) that had Let's-Kill-Everything Lon not fired the fatal shot he would've. Not to mention their hiring of virulently anti-gun-owner ex-Chicago PD chief Jody Weis...

Only if you want to Make an Example of Somebody and don't particularly care who... or if you're a State Sponsored Terrorist (which is exactly how retired-FBI friends of mine have described those two!) who's been told you have a free pass on murder.

I own a Colt original & Essentail Arms(EA) aluminum stock. The EA has bubbles, like tiny 1/16" pockmarks while the Colt is like glass. But for $100(I think, I don't recall the actual price & shipping) or so, it fits my need for an imitation CAR.

Seems the last time I read their catalog they had both a rough finish and a smooth slick finish that was supposedly glossy. Those of you that are interested should give them a call and clarify what they are offering now.

I didn't want to pay $100.00 for that so I picked up the plastic version. Since the build is not going to be authentic Colt anyway I figured it wouldn't matter as long as it looked good and functioned.
