And most of them were part of an actual investigation where they were compromised by CI's or facilitated into believing they were part of an action plan by investigating agencies. And that is kind of my point, we could do the same thing with people who are becoming radicalized but haven't actually committed a crime yet.

Have they not done that with some already? I assume their lawyer will scream entrapment, but it seems to me they are only giving the person enough rope hang themselves. Now the poor business man who has a women ask him back to his room for a romp for some $$ at the bar, then shows up to be arrested, that seems clearly entrapment, but seems to pass muster in courts, so wadda I know.

There has been a TON of PC asshattery going on for the last 8 years in the US. Database scrubbing, "hands off" lists, "sensitivity" masking their true motives, internet video protest...

The Orlando nightclub shooter had a coworker report him for racist, homophobic, and violent rhetoric and nothing was done because of political correctness. Same for the San Bernardino shooters, CA LE even knew him by name over the radio (per released transcripts) so they knew who he was from tips/prior investigations but didn't act because he was muslim of Middle East descent.
