    Switchview for Burris Scope

Google is failing me, mainly because I can't find my scope listed. I need a Switchview for a Burris XTR ii 5x25. Does anyone with that scope and a set of calipers know what the ring diameter is?

I'd contact MGM and ask. The model isn't listed on their site, but I'd suspect it's the same as the other XTR ii series.

I did and was told to measure with a caliper, which I lack right now.

"I have affixed a low cost switch view from MGM, and it actually works perfectly for the resistance the magnification ring offers."

If you can make contact with this guy (name at end of article): http://www.precisionriflemedia.com/a...25-rifle-scope

Burris tech spt: Technical Support at 1-888-228-7747

Or post question here (scroll to "ask a question on right side): http://www.burrisoptics.com/scopes/x...cope-5-25x50mm

I know nothing of Burris specs. You refer to the optic as "5x25". Is it actually 5-25x50mm? If so, here you go (more expensive): http://www.3gunstuff.com/?page_id=910

For $20.... I've never used this before, but check it out. He's sending me one to evaluate soon. I prefer metal, but at 1/3 the cost... it looks decent.

Though the finish isn't perfect (easily corrected if desired), I had one (Vortex) and it worked fine and was durable though it never saw battlefields.

Bamashooter, I have checked the spec sheets, called and emailed Burris. Nothing from them.

I'll get the other articles read later today.

Check out the one from 3 Gun stuff. I'm not affiliated with them, but have had two of their levers in the past and feel they make an excellent product. They also list your specific scope.

I have found multiple references to the MGM lever installed to the XTR II. Just haven't found model No. I also found another Burris Q&A where question #10 that a 3gunstuff lever is being used in a video. Scroll to bottom. http://www.burrisoptics.com/scopes/x...lescope-1-8x24

I'd buy it and be done with it
    Buy / borrow calipers
Take scope to machine shop for measurement
Measure with rule or make a template out of household items and measure with rule
