    Shooting outside of UK Parliament

So far it seems like several injured. One officer stabbed and suspect is shot and in custody

I'm curious if they have specific Parliament police who are armed. I can't see what the first officers on scene would do considering that very very few carry guns

They are Met Officers assigned to the Parliament. They were the portcullis as third insignia rather than the crown as he crown isn't allowed in Parliament but same as the rest. They do have armed officers at posts around the palace.

In another incident 5 people were mowed down by a car on Westminster bridge. Unclear if incidents are related

Title is a bit misleading. I believe the only "shooting" was done by the police. The attackers used vehicles to plow into crowds & they had knives.

Westminster Bridge and Westminster Palace are essentially the same place. Hard to say they aren't related IMO.

In other news, Erdogan promises Europeans (and westerners in general) won't be safe on the streets if certain diplomatic disputes between Turkey and EU aren't resolved soon.

In the not too distant future, the UK is the last stronghold of established government. The US is said to be in civil war, and is no longer a global presence. Some unkown phenomen is causing people to become infertile, and the world is panicking as babies are no longer getting conceived/born. The UK is increasingly fascist and craking down on refugees seeking asylum as the rest of the world collapses. Power struggles between government forces and gangs of migrants/supporters tear the neighborhoods apart. UK is pretty much a third world country- the wealthy are safe and living well while everyone else is fighting for survival.
