Personally speaking, the rest of their lineup doesn't matter to me. Most of it is farmed out anyway, so it's just a name to me, but I see your point about their brand.
Bushmaster in general. The ACR might be well made but it suffers the same as the XCR, not really proven so who knows. I absolutely love my XCR, I think it's a brilliant design and it's a fun rifle, but I'm not sure I'd want to take it to a hard use carbine class.
