    new barrel

I'm working on my 1st build and I have a question. I purchased a Wilson 18" S/S barrel. When I received the barrel it came with only 1 dimple in the barrel for the low profile gas block. Is this normal? Do I only need 1 dimple or am I suppose to dimple for the 2nd one myself. Is the 1 dimple there so I can lock the gas block down in place and exactly mark where the 2nd dimple goes? Thanks in advance for any help I can get.

One dimple is pretty much the norm.

The set screw spacing on gas blocks varies.

One dimple allows you to locate the gas block with the rear screw and then secure any other screws.
