    What is the point here? If not going suppressed, why go subsonic? If using as a defense gun, supers are an absolute necessity for adequate expansion and to reduce over penetration.

    If you want a fun, fast shooting range toy, go with lightweight reciprocating mass. I personally use a carbine buffer and JP bolt in my mag block conversion and shoot 115gr hand loads making 1090 fps in my 11" SBR and 1200 in my 16" barrel. Lots of fun to shoot fast...

    Modern projectile technology is pretty impressive.

    Here the 147gr HST @ 1000 fps outperforms the 124gr version @ 1150/1200.
