Yeah.....Archaic avatar and user name. I dumped all my 1911's several years ago (ipsc race guns, idpa versions, wilsons, nighthawks , and kimbers) after I became enlightened.....

Never used the forward serrations on any pistol. No intention either.

Same here. I don't see the point.

I recently tried front running the gun and like it a lot better. But you kind of need front serrations.

This reminds me of something Sig would do. Dump out a bunch of slightly different versions of the same guns. Color me unimpressed.

When the diamond plate rainbow G20C MOS FS XYZ comes out, though, I'll take two.

    I was hoping for a DA/SA steel framed 10mm.

Not many ways still left to improve upon perfection I guess?

Gotta' hand it to Glock thou for "cost efficient new-model-ization"

I think that will happen, after the latest "new models" lose their market buzz.

    Changes to polymer are easy.

Glock has def shown how you can "milk" a sound design by throwing a new bone out every so often to create new versions that some will want in the same way everyone ditches their current phone to have the new & improved version. Even if the improvements are barely substantive.

With all the negative drawbacks to Glocks, its hard to explain the huge monthly backlog of orders they keep having to fill....

While I'm in the crowd who has no use for front serrations, I'm not sure this is a Glock corporate decision. It's being offered by Lipsey's who is famous for bringing special runs to market. If you order enough guns Glock will make damn near whatever you want. I wouldn't be surprised if the FS and C models were because Lipsey's wanted to sell them.
Before you suggest that licensing, background checks, or other restrictions for the 2nd Amendment are reasonable... Apply those same ideas to the 1st and 4th Amendments. Then tell me how reasonable they are.
