    Precision SPR build

So this is my take on what seems to be a popular build right now, the SPR. I was focused on putting premium parts together to hopefully get best possible precision from a 16" platform that keeps the handiness of a Reece.

Noveske factory matched Gen III upper and lower.
    DD lower parts kit
    AR Gold trigger
    Ergo tactical grip
Vltor A5 system with EMod stock (going with supplied spring and buffer for now and see what it does)
    BCM Gunfighter Mod4 charging handle
    BCM KMR keymod handguard
BCM low profile gas block and gas tube
    Toolcraft nitrided bcg
cross armory safe mag and quick pins system (I live in CA and this makes the weapon legal and is faster than a bullet button)
F1 16" SS fluted match grade barrel in .223 Wylde-- 1 in 8 twist with 5R rifling; QPQ nitrided and twice stress relieved
Surefire warcomp (hoping for socom suppressor in the future) with a warden for the range.
Topped off with a Zeiss Conquest HD5 3-15 x42 in a Bobro mount. I do have an EOtech for a backup RD.

I have not decided on a bipod yet, also coming are 45* offset iron sights. I got one set that doesn't work with the scope-- have to go plan B

I was really happy with the fit from barrel to upper receiver. It was really tight and barrel went into freezer and liberal amount of heat gun to the upper receiver and was still tight to get in. So when temps normalize it should be even more tight. Everything is rock solid in the fit dept.

Is it just the light or is your Noveske lower a lighter color than the upper? I ask because I'm going to pick up a new lower for my DD upper today and the shop has a gen III lower I'm thinking about using.

    Great build FYI....
    DDM4V11 PRO, SSA-E, Vortex viper 6.5x20-44mm
BCM 16 KMR-A, SSA, EO Tech EXPS 3-0, G-33 magnifier
S&W M&P Sport II, BCM PNT, Aimpoint PRO
    BCM 9" 300 BLK upper/KAC lower/DD BCG/ BCM PNT/ Aimpoint T1
Noveske upper/lower/handguard, 20" 6.5 Grendel Bartlein Barrel, SSA-E,Vortex viper GEN II PST 5x25-50mm
16" BCA .223 Wylde "budget rifle", SPARC AR

Thanks, and yes, it is just the light. Upper and lower match perfectly in fit and color. They are cerakoted black from Noveske.

How are you hoping to get a socom suppressor in CA?

Lol... that's something known as living in an alternate universe or a pipe dream.

I hope to be retiring in Oregon before too long (I have 3 acres outside of Klamath Lake) That's my best shot. Otherwise it is hitting the lottery in the SCOTUS that would overturn those laws.

SCOTUS isn't going to overturn a state NFA law.

You really don't need that warden with the war comp. The concussion isn't bad at all especially compared to my socom brakes
